Morning Light

(©1984 by John J. Hubbard)

I have seen her
She has been in all my dreams
Just like a movie scene
She's calling out to me

I have seen her
A Virgin dressed in lace and white
She told me to lose my pride
To her I'll tell no lies

Chorus
When it's real to me, must this fantasy
Leave with morning light

I have wondered
Without dreams could
I survive
A victim of the wise
I claim no paradise

I have wondered
If my dream should run too deep
Would you come for me
To save my sanity

Chorus
I have seen her
And I have wondered how she flies
Quick as the morning light Into my head tonight

Chorus
